With the release of the Spring/Summer catalog from the University of Nebraska Press (link is a big pdf), my book The Cowboy Girl somehow becomes more official. We have a release date (May), we have a cover image (appropriately, Lockhart and a horse). . . it's really going to happen.
Accordingly, we have secured a new domain name, www.thecowboygirl.net, which redirects to http://www.johnclaytonbooks.com/thecowboygirl.htm. (I wanted thecowboygirl.com. But the woman who secured it, just a few weeks ahead of me, says she has big plans for it.) I spent last Friday updating the new site -- meanwhile giving a slight refresh to the rest of this site -- and if you're touring around and find any errors, please let me know.
