With the release of both the movie and paperback versions of "An Unfinished Life," Wyoming author Mark Spragg is getting a lot of press.
Many of the critics who like the film cite the script, as in this one:

There are also critics who don't like the film. I was going to write at length about how they seem to be reviewing their knowledge of show business, rather than the movie in front of them, and then I saw that Roger Ebert had done so better than I could here.
I saw the film myself in its Montana premiere a couple of weeks ago, and I liked it. It's quite faithful to the book, the performances (especially Redford's) are outstanding, and the script is chock-full of lines both funny and touching.
