Off to bookfest
This Friday and Saturday I'll be at the Montana Festival of the Book in Missoula. I'll be speaking Saturday at 1:00 on a panel with fellow bloggers Courtney Lowery, Ed Kemmick, and Patia Stephens.
But for the rest of the weekend I'll be haunting the other panels and readings. This is one of my favorite events of the year: almost 100 writers gathered to listen to and honor each other. Among the events I have circled this year: a new movie about an underappreciated western woman novelist, a reading by the riveting poet Robert Wrigley, and the gala finale with Rick Bass, Sandra Alcosser, and James Crumley.
