The funniest movie you will see this year
...isn't even a movie. It's the director's commentary on the DVD of "Blood Simple." Blood Simple was the Coen Brothers' first film, a low-budget 1983 film noir. For the DVD release the brothers apparently partially scripted a commentary for Jim Piddock, known for his dry commentary opposite Fred Willard in "Best in Show."
I usually hate the directors' commentaries. And other people must too -- they must never watch them. If they did, news of this hilarious piece would be flying around the Internet. (Maybe now it will!)
